We use a number of evidence based interventions including Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Cognitive Processing Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and Trauma-Informed interventions.

A therapist can help you process your emotions associated with many aspects and areas of your life. They are highly trained and skilled at helping you identify the feelings and emotions holding you back while providing a way through to healing.

Our therapists are In-Network Providers with Aetna, Blue Cross Blue Shield, United HealthCare, and NC Medicaid.

A SuperBill is available for out-of-pocket therapy sessions and can be submitted to your insurance for potential reimbursement.

When you pay out of pocket, you have the freedom to work with anyone, including Thistle & Bloom Counseling. There are no limits to the number of sessions, you can work with us as long as you like as you make steps towards accomplishing your treatment goals, and your information stays just between us — no labels, no reporting, just support.

If you are interested in paying out of pocket, the rates for services are as follows:

• Initial Assessment Sessions: $190

  Individual Sessions (50 min): $150

• Family Sessions (50 min): $165

A sliding scale is available for uninsured clients upon request.
